Despite all the stress she has been under this past year, she manages to stay admirably optimistic, with a passion for life that remains intact.

A beermaking aficionado, she now produces eight different types of homemade beer and conducts beermaking workshops in the backyard of her beautiful home. She also leads cooking classes in which she teaches how to cook with beer, as well as consciousness workshops. Karmazina believes her vocation in life is to spread as much love and light as possible and travels the country with her beer kegs and enthusiasm in tow, conducting tastings and workshops in as many places as possible.

The beautiful Nahal Shikma KKL-JNF trail stretches along 60 km, starting at the Pura Reserve and ending at Zikim Beach. The white dirt road is accessible to all vehicles and allows for interesting stops along the way. The trail passes through fields, forests, orchards, majestic sycamore trees, water springs and sand dunes - and of course, spectacular red anemones in full bloom, as far as the eye can see. eyarok.org.il ■
