The busiest tourist destination on the European continent | New research, conducted by luxury travel company The Thinking Traveller, has ranked the most overcrowded tourist attractions in Europe so you can avoid getting caught up in the throngs. Analyzing TripAdvisor reviews, the list was compiled by finding locations with the most mentions of the words ‘crowded’ and ‘busy’. According to results, Edinburgh Castle was named the most overcrowded destination on the continent. In 2023, almost 2 million people walked its halls. Next up in the ranking was Buckingham Palace in London, followed by Siam Park, the waterpark of Tenerife. The Grand Canal in Venice made fourth place, and the Roman Baths in the city of Bath, fifth. Situated within the prestigious Weizmann Institute campus, the new Clore Garden of Science is the first open-air science park in the world. It took five years to complete, with a part of it still undergoing works likely to last three years. The Garden has been designed as a gathering place where scientists and members of the public can come together to brainstorm, interact, and collaborate - where Weizmann’s science experts can share their latest discoveries and offer visitors a chance to influence and even participate in their research.
