7 Boom A dance piece by Liat Dror Since October 7 (and long before that), dancer, choreographer, and Sderot resident Liat Dror has been hearing the “booms” from the bombs on both sides of the Gaza border. They have become the soundtrack of the lives of the inhabitants of Sderot. When it was deemed possible to return to the city, Dror began working on a choreography that explores the notion of instability, of unsure movement, a lack of a physical center, personal and national. Windless A sound installation by Yaniv Shenzer For many months now, artist Yaniv Shenzer has been collecting remnants of rockets fired at Israel and transforming them into wind chimes with which he created a unique sound installation. The festival opens on September 10 th at the Adama dance studio Sderot with a three-stage program including Yaniv Shenzer’s sound installation, Liat Dror’s piece “7 Boom”, and a performance by “Hayelala”.
