Greco | Tel Aviv When restaurateur Tzviki Eshet and chef Eliav Goldenberg opened a little Greek taverna in northern Tel Aviv, little did they imagine they’d end up managing a veritable Greek food empire, with restaurants across Israel, including Eilat, Hod Hasharon, Kiryat Ono, Rishon LeZion, and of course Tel Aviv. Greco celebrates the colors and flavors of Greece in the most authentic way. Classic Greek salad with creamy feta, ripe tomatoes, crisp salad leaves, and kalamata olives is served all day, as well as grilled fish, Greek mezze platters and baked delicacies. When you walk through the door of a Greco eatery, everything screams Mediterranean summer, especially at the seafront Tel Aviv Frishman Beach location. Here, aside from the restaurant and café, there’s a Greco deli, bakery, and ice-cream parlor as well.
