Duo House | Designer: Yoav Barel After spending years designing lighting for museums and architectural spaces, Yoav Barel decided to focus on product design, light fixtures in particular. Eighteen months ago, he founded Duo House, a design hub that promotes Israeli contemporary art and design. Lighting is at the heart of all of Barel’s designs. Under his lighting brand, Yrd, he is presenting two lighting fixture collections that explore the notion of light as raw material through the meeting between light and metal, which creates a fascinating interplay of movement and aesthetics. @theduohouse

Nachshon Studio
Nachshon Studio | Designer: Tomer Nachshon An architect by training, Tomer Nachshon has always had a passion for details and small-scale furniture. His work combines the knowledge and know-how he absorbed as a child in his father’s workshop, and that of the world of architecture and design, acquired during his studies. His design language leans on material, technology, and detail, when the details are what melds everything together. The main materials employed are metal, leather, and wood, which are also the materials used in Nachshon’s lighting fixture collection showcased at the Tzeva Tari Design Fair. @nachshonstudio
A first-time collaboration project between lighting designer Nir Meiri and ceramicist Maiyan Ben Yona has delivered a beautiful collection of lighting fixtures inspired by the shape and aesthetics of the pagoda, after which it was named. The pieces are all made of metal, porcelain, and wood - materials both creators usually work with, highlighting the beauty of the intertwining of the three, while maintaining a clean, modern line with added shots of bright optimistic color. @nirmeiri, @maiyanbenyona
