Art | Wonderland 3 The Imperial Hotel, Tel Aviv The Imperial Hotel’s successful pop-up art show is back again, with curator Yaara Sachs’ Wonderland show, this time exploring the notion of escapism. Escapism can be a powerful coping mechanism and a tool for emotional healing. Like in previous editions, each one of the 37 hotel rooms serves as a portal into an alternative reality, created by 54 artists and creators of various disciplines, thus turning the hotel into a collective canvas upon which artists offer visitors a brief escape from our current harsh reality. Cinema | The Jerusalem Film Festival Jerusalem

This year’s edition of the Jerusalem Film Festival is a rich and diverse selection of films from around the globe, including some of the most talked-about movies of the year, some having premiered and received awards at the most prestigious international film festivals. The Jerusalem Film Festival also platforms competitions such as the Haggiag Competition for Israeli Feature Films, the Diamond Competition for Israeli Documentary Films, and competitions for experimental films, for first-time film directors, and more. Each year, more than NIS 1 million in prize money is awarded to filmmakers taking part in these competitions, many of them Israeli, with the aim to champion local filmmaking and creation.
