Yuval Buchstab is a designer creator who specializes in artisan woodworking. A Bezalel Academy graduate, Buchstab is an expert in the tree varieties that grow in Israel and has studied their characteristics to make unique everyday household objects out of their wood. He grew up in Kibbutz Nirim, near the border with Gaza, and creates his designs with the wood he collects Wooden objects and tableware | Yuval Buchstab Bezalel graduate and architect Yaara Rabinovitch obtained a postgraduate degree in ceramics and glassware design from the KADK in Copenhagen. She teaches at the Tel Hai Art Institute and has a studio that specializes in handmade homeware and decorative items made of ceramic and glassware, inspired by Brutalist architecture. Her work has been on show in various museums, galleries, and art fairs in Israel and abroad. Two years ago, Rabinovitch transferred her Tel Aviv studio to a kibbutz in the Upper Galilee situated on the frontline of the current war, so she has been displaced since Ceramics and glassware design | Yaara Rabinovitch

around the kibbutz. On October 7 th , his brother Yagev was kidnapped, and since then, all Buchstab’s work and earnings have been going to fund the fight for the release of the hostages.
