Now! Light Boxes Gallery, Jaffa

This exhibition showcases a series of works made by a variety of artists using numerous mediums and techniques, all created in the wake of the October 7 attacks. The works on show were made out of the need to bear witness and document the horrors that took place, the terror and pain caused to families and communities, and the wave of support and affection that Israelis showed their wounded and bereaved compatriots in these darkest of times.

Some of the works include the “Guernica” referencing

painting by Zoya Cherkassky, the “daily postcard” series by Zeev Engelmeyer with its faux-naïve colorful illustrations, (curators: Portfolio magazine editors Hagit Peleg Rotem, Limor Margolyes, Yuval Saar). The exhibition includes several photographs from the “Local testimony 2023” exhibition. Until March 3 rd , Light Boxes Gallery, Mazal Dagim alley and Mazal Arie alley, Old Jaffa, free entrance, 24/7
