The Levinsky Garden Library art sale The Levinsky Garden Library functions as both a cultural hub and a community center in Tel Aviv’s Neve Sha’anan neighborhood, a multicultural part of town in the south of the city. Once a year, (usually January or February), an art sale takes place for the benefit of the library that necessitates funds to organize its cultural events and initiatives that are so important for social cohesion. More than 200 artists, some of them big names in the Israeli art scene, take part each year, as more than 500 works are sold at the set price of NIS 1,800. The sale is a unique opportunity to purchase great art while donating to a good cause. It has been taking place for over decade and runs over four days (weekend included).
