Ein Migdal Ein Migdal is one of Emek HaMaayanot’s largest springs. Half of its waters, that are at a constant temperature of 24°C, are captured directly at source, while the remainder flows along the famous Nahal HaKibbutzim stream. Easily accessible, it’s possible to park five minutes away from the spring itself. Note that the stream is one kilometer long and can seem crowded as you first arrive – but there are many hidden nooks to discover if you walk further downstream. The name Ein Migdal (“Tower Spring” in Hebrew) refers to the 52 settlements that were founded in this region during the 1930s known as the Tower and Stockade Settlements. Good to know: entrance is free; there are toilets, a food kiosk, changing rooms, and wheelchair, stroller, and bike friendly lanes. Electric vehicles available for rent. Dogs are allowed.
