We’ve reached the stage where we’re already testing ourselves, tasting each dish again, adjusting the seasoning here, an ingredient there, ensuring the optimal heating time in the aircraft oven, working on the packaging design and especially waiting to meet you when tasting the food. I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we are also hard at work on the special dishes offered onboard, so that those who are vegan or vegetarian, those who eat strictly kosher or prefer a gluten free meal, will also be able Photos: Courtesy of EL AL, (Granit) Tami Bar Shay

to enjoy this new and interesting menu. It is important that I share with you a central milestone in the process we are going through here

at EL AL: one of my joint goals with EL AL is to bring the meals served on flights as

close as possible to a restaurant-like experience, and to serve not only food, but also the story behind each dish. That’s why training aircrews is key. We are currently interactively training all the teams, who are my main partners in connecting with you. I am passing on the story of the food, how it is meant to be served, and the meaning behind the connection we’re creating through it, so that together we can provide you with the perfect experience. I’ll leave you with a small taste of these enriching encounters. I can’t wait for us to meet (and it’s happening soon).
