The Elkonin Hotel stands on the foundations of what once was the White City’s first ever hotel, erected in 1913 by Malka and Menahem Elkonin. The beautiful edifice which once welcomed such illustrious guests as David Ben Gurion, artists and royalty, has been reopened by the MGallery brand part of the Accor Hotel Group, after years of meticulous restoration by Israeli architect Bar Orion and French Designer Iconique Studio. The new hotel’s design is by interior designer Adriana Shor who has succeeded in bringing to life the bold vision of hotel owner and investor Dominique Romano. The resulting new structure is a breathtaking blend of vintage elegance and modern glamour. Photos: Amit Geron, Anatoly Michaello, Sivan Askayo
