See the Sights I Discover and Enjoy
Summer vacation is already here, and a variety of water activities and attractions around the country – from north to south – are waiting for you. Here are three that will keep you refreshed this summer / Nava Marton August Heat: 3 Suggestions for a Fun, Refreshing Summer’s Day
02 LAKE TLV, Tel Aviv Located at the heart of Tel Aviv, LAKE TLV is the center for cable wakeboarding and waterskiing. The type of cable waterskiing practiced here is the only one of its kind in Israel. Unlike regular waterskiing, this technique uses a unique apparatus, and skiers are not pulled behind a boat. For beginners, it will take time to get the hang of it, but don’t worry, fun is guaranteed – even if you fall into the water (and chances are you will). Recently, LAKE TLV underwent extensive renovations, including the installation of a new apparatus that incorporates the most advanced technology in the field. Cable waterskiing is suitable for everyone, including children (from age nine, provided they can swim) to extreme sports enthusiasts. Additionally, the site offers tubing activities for children aged six and above (accompanied by an adult). For more info go to: laketlv.co.il

01 Shefayim Water Park This well-known water park opens the season with a refreshing addition – a musical slide. The park, spread over 50 dunams, features a variety of slides and water attractions for all ages - a large, colorful, slide complex, featuring rainbow slides, with no fewer than 14 sliding paths, several tube slides, including tubing for two in the dark and Crazy Runs, a wave pool, a complete water world for toddlers aged two and older, and more water surprises. Throughout the park, expansive, shaded seating areas are available. This year, there are also food courts serving coffee, pastries, sandwiches, snacks and complete meals with decadent desserts, throughout the day. Food can be easily and quickly ordered online using a barcode, and it can be picked up when ready without waiting in line. Entrance tickets can be pre-ordered for dates on which the park is open to the general public. For more info go to: waterpark.co.il
03 Kfar Blum Kayaks Boating season is already underway, making it the perfect time for a kayaking experience. The sailing adventure at Kfar Blum Kayaks starts at Beit Hillel and flows for about four kilometers until you reach the waterfall at the journey’s end (look right and flash a big smile, because they will be taking your picture). For families with children aged 5 and above, there’s a suitable family route that takes you along the stream while passing several charming spots. The water is clear and refreshing and offers an enjoyable experience for families, groups of friends, and couples. Additionally, the site also features a ropes course called “TopRope,” which reaches 10 meters in height and includes an omega that takes you to the sparkling water of the Jordan River. There is also a glamping complex, Blum Village, which offers accommodation in air-conditioned tents. For more info go to: kayaks.co.il
