Lifestyle I Food

Santi | Tel Aviv The wine bar wave that’s washing over Tel Aviv right now is influencing every layer of the city’s food scene, from famous gourmet restaurants to lesser-known spots. One of the most recent to open is Santi, half wine bar half gourmet eatery, led by the uber-talented young chef Guy Arish from the “Mashya” restaurant. In a beautiful space with an open kitchen at its center, impressive dishes are served as though on a theatre stage, offering a truly thrilling experience. Extreme care is placed in the choice of raw materials and Japanese and Scandinavian cooking techniques are expertly performed, enhancing the quality of the ingredients. Special bottles are generously opened for diners to taste before ordering, and beverages are perfectly paired with the food. The care and attention placed in the menu are balanced out by the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere, together contributing to making Santi an irresistible summer bar. santi.co.il

The Blend | Nazareth The Blend is a new boutique hotel located in the Old City of Nazareth. It was recently opened by the Golden Crown group at an investment of more than NIS 20 million, and represents a veritable bridge between east and west, modern and classic. Its rooftop bar looks out onto gorgeous views of the ancient city, as hotel guests and non-guests are invited to enjoy a refreshing cocktail or a glass of wine to the relaxing sound of the city’s church bells. The excellent food menu, created by local young chef Rami Slam, includes dishes such as tabouleh with pine nuts and almonds, fish skewers on a bed of lemon cream, fruit salad with watercress and strawberry and poppy seed vinaigrette, as well as more traditional Galilean dishes. A truly delightful spot to enjoy a dolce vita afternoon in the heart of one of the most beautiful and authentic

cities in Israel. theblend.co.il
