Pottery | Tal Batit Tal Batit is an artist, potter, and designer who creates beautiful objects that are both art and design artifacts. He makes them using limited edition molds and explosive colors giving them a definite pop-art edge and an ultra-precise level of finish. Batit has recently launched a new line called “Shevet” (“tribe” in Hebrew), which consists of a variety of shapes that interlock with each other to in turn create new
objects and shapes. He conducts workshops in his beautiful studio in Jaffa where participants get to create their own “Shevet” creation which will then need to be baked in a kiln and glazed by Batit himself before participants get to take it home two weeks later. Duration: 4 hours Price: NIS 850 per participant (the price of a sculpture not made in a workshop is NIS 2,600) batit_studio Embroidery | Elli Design Shirly Rov is a textile designer who makes textile-based pieces (t-shirts, sweatshirts, and bags), paper creations (notebooks and greeting cards), and embroidered jewelry.
