Award-winning Michelin-starred Chef Assaf Granit has been appointed EL AL’s new head chef. Famous both at home in Israel and abroad, Granit will be in charge of creating the new menus for all service classes onboard EL AL flights, instilling his passion for excellence and quality while incorporating his distinctive signature touch to each dish. EL AL flies the Eurovision delegation of 2023 EL AL will fly the Israeli delegation to the 2023 Eurovision song contest onboard a special non-stop flight to Liverpool. The Israeli delegation, led by Israel's representative Noa Kirel, will depart on April 30 th in a designated unique flight to Liverpool where the competition is held this year. Also, as part of the cooperation between KAN Israeli Public Broadcasting Corp and EL AL, EL AL passengers will be able to enjoy KAN content such as children's shows, dramas, comedy shows and more. All this content will be gradually added to the entertainment system over the coming months. EL AL congratulates Noa Kirel and wishes her good luck in the competition!

“We must take care of all the people who went through the Holocaust and make sure they have what they need to experience as much joy as possible. That is the purpose of our foundation. Being a part of it is meaningful for me”, says Yechiel Frenkel, Holocaust survivor & board member of the Foundation for the Welfare of Holocaust Victims. The Foundation for the Welfare of Holocaust Victims was established 29 years ago by Holocaust survivors. It conducts numerous programs that assist survivors in their daily and basic hardships. 150,000 Holocaust survivors live in Israel today, 30% of them live in poverty. 81,000 survivors are supported
