Editor's Pick

Once you’ve sent out your last personal and business messages and taken the umpteenth airplane selfie, it’s finally time for some serious YouTube surfing: here are three of our top picks for maximum entertainment

Hanan Ben Ari at the Caesarea Amphitheatre

Harel Skaat at the Caesarea Amphitheatre

"A kiss for David”- the Tipex band’s live show Tipex live shows always put you in a good mood and watching one on a plane is an even more powerful experience – believe me. Their show “A kiss for David” includes all their greatest hits and lead singer Kobi Oz really gives it his all up there on stage. The show was produced by Israeli television channel Kan 11 and the quality of the video is excellent. It is divided into two parts, and the QR code you’ll find below will lead you to the first part only, though I urge you to look for part 2 as well, as rhythms and emotions soar even higher in that one.

What else can be said about Hanan Ben Ari’s show at the Caesarea Amphitheatre that hasn’t been said already? Ben Ari and his band pour their hearts and souls on stage – and the audience feels it, returning the love tenfold. The video uploaded by the band also includes clips with backstage and studio moments, as well as a few more surprises. This video doesn’t contain the whole show – but there’s just enough in there, to make you want to come back for more.

Harel Skaat’s YouTube page has more that 1 million followers, and his Caesarea show, more than 300 thousand views - and rightly so. It’s a great show that includes the full and wonderful repertoire of songs this Kfar-Saba born singer has given to the world. The quality of the video is excellent, as are Skaat’s musicians. When fellow singer Eden Hason joins Skaat on stage for a duo, the crowd goes wild, and the emotion is palpable. By the way, Skaat has a new clip out called “Feeling at home” that he wrote for his son Ari (whose voice you can hear in the chorus) and filmed at home.
