EL AL presents – Non-Stop Flights to Exciting Destinations in the Far East

Celebrating Israeli cinema EL AL is showing its love for Israeli cinema by adding a new movie section devoted entirely to Israeli filmmakers to its entertainment system. Twelve Israeli movies are now available for viewing, including a selection of comedy classics by the late Uri Zohar who passed away this year. The movie library includes: Love you Charlie , starring Michael Aloni, Alon Abutbul and Noa Kirel; Saving Shuli ; Lior Ashkenazi’s directorial debut Perfect Strangers ; Maktub , directed by Hanan Savyon and Guy Amir; Avi Nesher’s wonderful movie The Other Story ; Spider in the Web starring the great Ben Kingsley, Monica Bellucci and Itay Tiran; Our Story , starring Eliana Tidhar and Lee Biran; the action-comedy parody of the Israeli Mossad HaMossad ; the animated movie The Legend of King Solomon about King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, and Uri Zohar’s comedy classics, Big Eyes, Save the Lifeguard , and Metzitzim .

Non-stop Flights to Tokyo, Japan

We are thrilled to finally launch our new non-stop destination just in time for cherry blossom season. Starting March 1 st 2023*, there’ll be two weekly flights - Wednesday and Saturday nights – from Tel Aviv to Narita International Airport in Tokyo, operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, offering three service classes – Economy, Premium and Business.

Returning to Hong Kong We are pleased to announce that EL AL will be resuming direct flights from Tel Aviv to Hong Kong starting February 4 th 2023 *. We will offer three weekly flights - Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights - on our 787 Dreamliner aircraft offering three service classes – Economy, Premium and Business. Business Class and other eligible passengers will be invited to enjoy the King David Lounge in TLV airport, and Premium Plaza Lounge at the Hong Kong Airport prior to their flight.

In-flight WiFi – from boarding to landing We are delighted to announce that our in-flight WiFi service is now available for use from boarding till landing – on all flights where the service is on offer. From now on, you can enjoy the WiFi services and stay connected for the entire duration of the flight from pushback to arrival at the gate. (Until now, the service was available starting from 45 minutes from/to Tel Aviv)
