Every flight is a celebration

At EL AL, we are committed to providing our passengers with a fun and relaxing flight experience. In this spirit, we've marked a few dates on the calendar for some extra merrymaking. We celebrated with our American friends on the 4 th of July, on all our flights to the USA, with an American breakfast, a holiday menu and especially designed chocolate candy bars. On July the 14 th , our French friends also got to celebrate on our flights to France, with meringues and greetings for a Happy Bastille Day. We celebrated International Chocolate Day on one of our flights by offering all passengers chocolate treats and organizing a “Willy Wonka” type contest, as 10 of the treats contained a special brightly colored chocolate bar that awarded the winner with gift vouchers for the onboard Duty Free. We also celebrated International Ice Cream Day, as "Vaniglia" ice cream was offered to passengers on flight 323 to Paris. Israeli ice cream chain "Vaniglia" has also created a special EL AL flavor, now sold in all their stores in Israel. Many more surprises are yet to come - who knows, perhaps even on the flight you are on!

“Chef on Board” - Kids’ Meals

We know how challenging it can be to prepare meals for kids that are all at once nutritious, tasty and appetizing. All the more so when it is served in the unfamiliar surroundings of an airplane during an experience which is so unlike their usual routine. This is why we’re always trying to improve the kids’ meals we serve onboard, making sure we make them as exciting and delicious as possible. How do we do it? We simply ask the kids themselves what they want! We invited our customers' children to take part in a special workshop with our chef Shahaf Shabtay, and got them to prepare their dream tray. The young chefs got to taste, critique and select their favorite dishes. What did the kids choose? You’ll soon be finding out! Children’s meals will shortly be available on every EL AL flight. Kids’ meals must be ordered in advance. Don't forget to place an order for your little ones - and for yourself as well if you feel like it - we guarantee it will be yummy!
