מצב או פעולה דמיוניים שהתנאי להם לא התקיים בעבר ולכן התוצאה לא תתרחש בהווה .

פעולת התנאי – Past Simple פעולת התוצאה – Future Past

If + Past Simple (V2) + would + V1

If you called me on time, I would be ready now.

We would help her if she didn ’ t run away.

זכרו! אפשר להפוך את סדר המשפטים :

I would be ready now if you called me on time.
