Summary and Future Plans After a year filled with activity, the Commissioner's Unit is now turning its attention to the future and composing plans for the years to come. The Unit's scope of activity is steadily growing in all areas each year and it is our intention to maintain and increase this trend. During the coming year, we wish to increase the number of workers' queries to the Unit, to expand the public explanatory activity promoting awareness of foreign workers' rights, to expand the Unit's legal activity, and to increase our participation and assistance in policy making procedures.

The 2022Work Plan includes:

• Formulation and writing of a strategic work plan for 2022-2023

• Safeguarding of foreign workers' labor rights via legal proceedings

• Writing of formal legal opinions papers on disputed legal issues

• Providing workers with access to information

• Advancing the safeguarding of foreign workers' rights by providing access to information about obligations related to sole employers in the caregiving sector

• Publishing a booklet about labor rights in Arabic for Palestinian workers in each sector

• Writing a convention together with the caregiving bureaus

• A second cycle of the "Caregiving Rights Trustees" project

• Formulating interdepartmental regulations for handling sexual harassment among foreign workers

• Mediating labor disputes

• Continued implementation of solutions raised at the round tables conference
