How did you start working at EL AL? “I began working at EL AL straight after military service where I served as an aircraft technician in the IAF, and I’ve been here ever since, first working in the aircraft maintenance department, and now as a senior instructor”. What does your position entail? “I’m part of a big team of instructors who train EL AL ground and air personnel and provide them with the tools they need to do their job to optimum standard. I teach aircraft maintenance crews all about the aircraft systems and cabin crew about safety issues”. What do you love about your

job? “I love feeling like I’ve played a significant role in a new EL AL employee’s training process. I also love being part of the company’s collective effort to preserve knowledge, and I’m always happy to provide professional advice whenever I can”. Which part of your job do you find most challenging? “Adapting myself to each employee according to their needs which vary depending on the department they work in and their professional experience”. What do you always pack in your suitcase? “My travel documents”. Which EL AL destination do you

most enjoy flying to and why? “New York. Manhattan in particular. It offers the perfect combination of history, culture, shopping, and walkability”. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? “Spending time with my family and going to sports and cultural events”. What would you be doing now, had you not joined EL AL? “ I’d probably be in the art world or making music”.
