The next generation of home robots . . . The next generation of home robots doesn’t stop at mere vacuuming: thanks to robotic arms, the new models have the ability to comprehend the dynamics of a household environment, pick things up and put them away. Indeed, impressive humanoid models, real robotic household assistants, are currently available for pre-order. One prominent example is X1’s NEO, a humanoid home robot household assistant. It has a voice interface and a task-planning app, and early adopters can count on basic autonomous capabilities. For complex tasks the robot hasn’t yet mastered, X1 experts say remote supervision during pre-scheduled times will be provided. The other major players active on the humanoid robot market are Tesla, with its Optimus robot, designed for both domestic and industrial tasks, and Figure, which is developing advanced AI-powered humanoid robots made to process complex tasks. And Chinese company Unitree has launched humanoid robots as well as four legged ones at price points that are relatively accessible for this sector. Price: The NEO home robot is available for pre-order with a $200 refundable deposit through a $20,000 purchase option or a $499-a-month subscription.

32 ATMOSPHERE NOVEMBER 2026 NOVEMBER . . The Dyson CameraJet Dyson’s new CameraJet electric toothbrush features a tiny camera and an ultra-precise water jet capable of cleaning between the teeth. Indeed, the small, 100,000-pixel camera detects potential gaps between the teeth and automatically directs a jet of mouthwash at them. The rapid movement of the brush head modifies the oscillation angle, ensuring the bristles remain active even in hard-to-reach areas, allowing for brushing and interdental cleaning in one single action. In addition, the MyDyson app gives a sort of live feed coverage map and brushing guidance (the brand ensures images are neither recorded nor stored on the device or in the cloud). Dyson has also developed a low-foaming toothpaste and mouthwash to minimize visual interference for the camera. Like any electric toothbrush, it offers manual operation options, including adjustable brushing intensity. Price: $499 (US launch price; details regarding launch date in Israel are not yet available). . Photo: Dyson
