Updates . . . . . . Joseph Bau's Art Takes Flight to Atlanta Over 40 works by Joseph Bau, Holocaust survivor and Israel's first animator, are on view at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta through December. In the Płaszów camp, Bau forged documents that helped others escape and secretly married Rebecca, who gave up her place on Schindler's list for him. After the war, he forged documents for the Mossad's Eichmann operation. He even painted poster art for EL AL. On November 8, his daughters, Clila and Hadasa Bau, came to Atlanta for a screening of Paramount's Bau, Artist at War and a talk on his memoir. EL AL Israel Airlines proudly supported their journey. The Joseph Bau Museum is located at 9 Berdichevsky Street, Tel Aviv. Full story: bit.ly/JosephBauAtlanta "The Whole World Belongs to You," EL AL poster art by Joseph Bau. In the heart of the Arava, where desert meets vision, Ruach Arava nurtures Israel’s next generation of leaders, strengthening Israel’s southern periphery and eastern border through education, agriculture, community and practical Jewish values. Each year, hundreds of young Israelis from across society - religious and secular, from north and south, cities, moshavim and kibbutzim - come together through pre-military and post-service programs, including a unique program for youth at risk. At Bein HaShitim Farm, they experience desert agriculture, volunteering and community life, discovering that leadership begins with the choice to take responsibility. Inspired by the Arava pioneers who transformed arid land into a place of growth and innovation, Ruach Arava gives young people the tools and values to lead and serve society. Its graduates go on to play educational . .
and civic leadership roles across Israel. This is a living Israeli story of people who choose not to stand on the sidelines, but to sow belonging and reap a future shared by us all. EL AL is proud to partner with Ruach Arava in connecting people, land and purpose, helping this pioneering spirit to live on and continue to inspire a new generation to take responsibility for Israel’s future. . .
