Israeli Music The Tamar Festival | The Dead Sea and the Judean Desert The Tamar Festival celebrates its 26th anniversary this year at the foot of Mount Masada with an incredible lineup that crosses genres, generations and audiences, creating intriguing musical encounters and one-off collaborations created especially for the occasion. Participating artists include: Marina Maximilian, Miri Mesika, Keren Peles, Dudu Tassa, Sarit Hadad, Gal De Paz, and Noga Erez. The Tamar Festival is a celebration of Israeli music and landscapes, with performances open to all and magical sunrise performances in Masada, Kibbutz Ein Gedi and Nahal Amatziahu Park. Exhibition Noma Bar: Look Again | The Tel Aviv Museum of Art

Noma Bar is one of the world’s most prominent illustrators. His work appears on the covers of leading newspapers and magazines, and shapes the image of major cultural institutions and international brands. Born in 1973 as Avinoam Bernstein, Bar graduated from the Bezalel Department of Visual Communication in 2000 before moving to London with his wife Dana who is also his artistic partner. This is the first exhibition in Israel dedicated to Bar’s work, offering a comprehensive look at one of the most influential and original illustrators currently active on the international scene, tracing back the development of his visual language over more than 25 years. The exhibition is supported by the Friends of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and the Young Friends of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Nature and Sustainability The Green Inside and Out Festival | Jerusalem

This Jerusalem festival is a celebration of nature and sustainability, with dozens of events, activities and free tours held in various locations across the city, including tours of the Gazelle Valley and Ein Handak, a bicycle repair workshop, fabric printing workshops, community markets, and more. At every location, there’ll be lectures, plays, workshops, tours and more. The festival offers visitors a chance to discover green parts of the city and all sorts of environmental projects happening in the city all year round. It provides a platform for residents and local communities to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and the need for local action.
