Bella, Ramat Aviv | Multisensory dining Not far from the beach, just north of Tel Aviv, lies chef Aviv Moshe’s new fine dining establishment. Bella Mia elegantly mixes and matches Five friends, all of them former combat officers who finished their military service, decided to join forces and bring a bit of Tel Aviv buzz to the heart of Holon, and opened “Noah”, a Mediterranean inspired restaurant offering classic Mediterranean dishes (pasta, pizza, polenta, Moroccan “chreime” fish stew, fish cigars, focaccia, etc.), and exciting cocktails. Perfect for a casual date or a friends’ night out, the restaurant is beautifully designed, with the bar and seating area steeped in soft earthen tones, and a Noah’s Ark-shaped light fixture hovering above a large “medieval knights” dining table. In favorites of the Italian table with the Jerusalem classics of Moshe’s childhood. Menu highlights include fresh tortellini, lemon arancini, crispy Moroccan fish cigars, Moroccan “bishbash” fennel salad, tabun-baked pizzas (from classic margherita to exciting variations such as mozzarella and zhug), and Noah, Holon Mediterranean fusion
more. Inside the restaurant dining space, an entire wall projects calm and relaxing rhythms and visuals. Indeed, Moshe’s deep belief is that a good meal isn’t just about the food, but about the overall multisensory experience. A fish bistro and a Japanese izakaya will also be opening here soon, reinforcing more still, Ramat Aviv’s growing position on the Israeli culinary scene. bellatlv.co.il

Daw, Ganei Aviv, Lod An Asian-fusion tasting menu
In an elegantly designed space in the heart of the city of Lod, chef Or Ben Simon, who made Aliyah from France, has opened his very own fine dining establishment, “Daw”, which means “light” in Moroccan. Three nights a week, Ben Simon and his wife Sarah, who manages the dining space, welcome 24 diners to come and enjoy a ten-course Asian-fusion inspired tasting menu experience. It’s a short distance between the open kitchen and the dining space – which adds to the coziness and warmth of the experience and gives diners the opportunity to observe the meticulous preparation process of each dish in real-time. Daw is a fine dining restaurant like no other, that manages to marry culinary sophistication with the relaxed warmth of a real home. daw-restaurant.com
