03 |Arava Nights Across the Arava

All through the summer, the Central Arava Regional Council invites visitors of all ages to come and enjoy cultural events and experiences across the region, with activities ranging from telescope stargazing to wildlife spotlighting, campfire nights, ancient crafts workshops, sunset jeep tours, meat-smoking classes, nighttime swimming, and more. In addition, to mark the August 13th Perseids meteor shower, a major stargazing event will be taking place and open to all. Some of the highlights include: guided hikes, stargazing evenings, Bedouin hospitality experiences, lantern forest tours, scorpion watching tours, cheese and wine tastings, food tours, sunset hikes, and more. Art galleries, wineries, coffee carts, restaurants, night tours, live shows will be awaiting visitors of all ages across Emek Yizrael throughout the summer months. Some of the activities on offer include stargazing at the Ein Dor Museum to mark the August meteor shower, a special night of science and entertainment at the Kibbutz Yifat Museum with Children’s Channel’s star “Dr. Molecule”, a harvesting and winemaking experience at the Ofir Farm in Alon HaGalil, as well as an evening of wine and singing at Sadot Winery in Sde Yaakov, and more.
