Mishka / A café and diner in Emek Yizrael
Emek Brasserie / Somewhere between the Loire Valley and Emek Hefer The Emek Brasserie invites diners to discover chef Ido Feiner’s personal interpretation of French brasserie classics, with a menu based on fresh locally-sourced produce. It is located in the Mishmar Hasharon Dor Alon complex, a highly frequented spot on Highway 4, where families stop for a meal, professionals on business trips stop for lunch on their way to their destination. Classic French brasserie dishes, from meat and fish to handmade pasta, fresh salads, and more, are served in a beautifully designed space that manages to make you completely forget you’re in a gas station. @emek.brasserie what he loves, creating beautiful, meticulously prepared dishes. Sharabi has crafted a menu with first and main courses that can be enjoyed at any moment of the day, Mishka is a delightful café and diner located near the gas station at the entrance to Kibbutz Yifat. It is owned by the Tamir family, of the foodie favorite steakhouse “Temerlin” in Nahalal. The kitchen is helmed by chef Itamar Sharabi, who following extended reserve duty, is back doing
including breakfast options, brunch platters, pies, pastries, salads, fish dishes, meat dishes, vegetarian options, made with locally-sourced ingredients from nearby farms and artisan producers. Nina Bianca / A kosher bistro in the Judean Hills Who knew fine dining bistros could be found in highway commercial zones? And indeed, Nina Bianca is exactly that - a fine dining restaurant located near Bilu Junction, one of Israel’s most frequented highway resting areas. The kitchen is helmed by Yarin Amira, a chef deeply influenced by his Tripolitan roots and modern cooking techniques. The owner of the restaurant is Lior Naim, one of the biggest vine growers in Israel, and he has curated a wine menu of exceptional quality that perfectly completes the dishes served. On Sundays, diners can enjoy live music performances throughout the evening, and DJ sets on Tuesdays – and throughout the summer months, there’ll be special culinary nights combining cultural events with a light fish-based menu. ninabianca.co.il
