IYMD STUDIO| Ido Yanko Marber

Shenkar College graduate Ido Yanko Marber founded her custom-made designer furniture studio IYMD STUDIO, following her participation in a student exchange program in Milan. Each project is tailor-made to meet the needs, taste, and spirit of each specific client, resulting in unique, original furniture pieces. Yanko Marber’s work aims to break the barrier of creativity in the field of furniture design and promote the introduction of designer items into every household. Each item is a one-of-a-kind piece, like the sea themed side table she created for a client passionate about surfing, or the coffee-backgammon table she made for another, or the ping pong dining room table she made for a family with three ping-pong aficionado sons. iymdstudio.com @iymd

Room of Ceramics | Liron Yosef In her work, Holon Institute of Technology graduate Liron Yosef explores the relationship between functionality, shape, and material. Her brand of ceramic homeware, “Room of Ceramics”, offers a range of handmade ceramic vessels that are both functional homeware items and designer objects with a unique sculptural presence. Yosef’s designs place an emphasis on the items’ composition and elements, each one fulfilling a specific role, thus examining the tension between the whole and the sum of its parts. Each vessel maintains the brand’s strong visual identity – its natural tones, and matte vs. glossy textural interplay.
