Zeniyar | Shir Goldberg and Roni Porat Bezalel College graduates Shir Goldberg and Roni Porat have created a series of paper shell vases in various sizes, colors, and textures. The uniqueness of paper as a material is its extreme lightness combined with incredible structural strength. The vases’ production process starts out with computer modeling and 3D printing, before requiring meticulous handcraftsmanship and the use of natural materials. Plaid | Avi Ben Shoshan and Tamar Eisenberg Shenkar College graduates (and current lecturers) Avi Ben Shoshan and Tamar Eisenberg have teamed up for a joint project entitled “Plaid”, following up from their 2025 Zvi Yemini Design Prize win. The prize comes with financial support for the development of an original design project as well as its presentation at the Fresh Paint fair. “Plaid” is a five-part modular mold system for ceramic casting, with which you can create a wide variety of three-dimensional shapes in varying compositions - from useful objects to artworks, from a tiny vase to a life size sculpture - allowing for complete design freedom and customization options, while placing an emphasis on the connection between the different parts. @abs_objects @maroo @plaid_project

Multi-layered vessels | Michal Taharlev Shenkar College graduate Michal Taharlev’s vase collection is inspired by ancient Greece. Each one is made from thousands of layers of laser-cut fabric joined together to form a stable three-dimensional structure, creating a dialogue between the notions of hard and soft, old and new, contemporary design and modern design, cutting edge production processes and traditional craftsmanship. The laser cut fabrics are dyed/torn in order to create textures and colors via a technique usually used in pottery creation.
