Continuing Together to Los Angeles 2028

During a recent ceremony held at Ben Gurion Airport, EL AL and the Israeli Paralympic Committee signed an extension of their cooperation agreement ahead of the Paralympic Games in Los Angeles 2028. As part of the agreement, EL AL will continue to serve as the official airline and sponsor of the Israeli delegation, accompanying the athletes on their journey to the international stage. The signing ceremony was attended by EL AL management, the leadership of the Israeli Paralympic Committee, the Israel Sports Association for the Disabled and representatives of the delegation, underscoring the continuation of the long-standing partnership between the organizations, built on commitment, trust and shared values. and sharing in the excitement, achievements and national pride alongside an entire nation, we are delighted and excited to continue together toward the next destination.

The “Scarf of Hope”: preventing hair loss in cancer patients

The Israel Cancer Association is dedicated to supporting cancer patients and their families. In recent years, alongside progress in medical treatments, there has also been an increasing emphasis on improving patients’ quality of life. With this in mind, a new “Cold Cap” has been developed to prevent or reduce hair loss during treatment, as well as a “Scarf of Hope” – a collaborative project led by EL AL, the Israel Cancer Association, and designer Anat Hefetz’s brand KAWAYAN. Each silk scarf of exceptional quality is handmade with great attention to detail. All proceeds from the sale of these scarves go towards purchasing cold caps for oncology patients in medical centers across Israel. Each scarf is a gift with deep meaning, one that tells a story of creativity, female empowerment, and vital support for cancer patients and their families.
