‘The Yacht’: A Luxury Waterfront Hotel in Herzliya Fattal Hotel Group has unveiled its latest luxury property, ‘The Yacht’, a stunning hotel from the Fattal Limited Edition collection. Located in the heart of the Herzliya Marina, the hotel was built with an investment of approximately one billion NIS. Designed by architect Ilan Pivko, the structure is inspired by a luxury yacht, offering an immersive maritime experience with 325 rooms and suites, many featuring direct water views. Guests can enjoy world-class amenities, including a 50-meter pool, two rooftops, and the KEDEM SPA. Culinary offerings include several restaurants and an elegant lobby-bar, promising an exclusive “escape from the ordinary” retreat.

Israel ranks 26 th best country in the world out of 100 The US News & World Report recently published its ranking for 2026, of the year’s “best countries”. The ranking is based on a score system that focuses on eight different living-standard categories, including culture and tourism, with Switzerland coming in first place. According to analysts, “Switzerland scores highly across the board, be it in terms of economic development and governance, as well as culture and tourism”. The other top five countries are Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands. Israel comes in 26th, ahead of countries like Portugal, Hungary, Greece, and the United Arab Emirates, with the report noting the significance of the fact that “Israel is home to some of the world’s holiest sites”.

development project has officially been launched to completely upgrade the visitor experience at the iconic Ramla White Tower complex. This extensive project aims to elevate one of Israel’s most prominent heritage sites, located on the historic Jaffa-Jerusalem travel route. Funded by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ramla Municipality, the project is being carried out by the Government Tourism Corporation in cooperation with the Israel Antiquities Authority. The renovation is set to be completed by mid-2027 and offer significantly improved accessibility, advanced guiding signage, and an immersive, interactive touring experience.

Israeli wines shine at the international Città del Vino competition

Since receiving the first Israeli official wine “appellation”, the Mateh Yehuda Region continues to shine. At the recent Città del Vino competition, this year held in Italy’s Veneto region, it obtained no less than nine medals (five gold and four silver). The competition is open to designated wines from official wine regions only. The Mateh Yuehuda Region took part as a member of Iter Vitis, an international organization affiliated with the Council of Europe that promotes traditional wine culture in Europe and the Mediterranean. The region’s outstanding success at the competition is in direct continuation of the consistent strengthening of Israel’s number one wine region. The Mateh Yehuda Wine Region stretches between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and includes dozens of wineries and vineyards, including prize-winners Kadma, Yehuda, Kerem Barak and Teperberg.
