The fastest Internet in the sky is coming to EL AL
no additional cost, subject to terms and conditions. Powered by Starlink’s low Earth orbit satellite constellation, the system will be delivering high-speed broadband connectivity throughout the flight, enabling streaming, remote work and seamless access to digital services. Designed to support hundreds of passengers simultaneously, the technology will ensure reliable performance, including on long haul flights.This initiative reflects EL AL’s ongoing commitment to elevating its passenger experience, and positions the airline among the world’s leading carriers in onboard innovation. Passengers will be able to stay connected throughout their journey with a browsing experience comparable to the one they have at home. – making their vacation more convenient and rewarding. In the future, attractions will also be added, allowing customers to plan and book all components of their vacation in one place. Special launch offer: Matmid Frequent Flyer Program members who hold a FLY CARD by Isracard (MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS) and book a hotel by August 31, 2026 for stays until June 30, 2027, with a minimum booking value of $500, will receive 10,000 Matmid Points as a gift. EL AL continues to expand its route network with the launch of a new non-stop service to San Francisco, beginning October 25, 2026. This new route connects Israel directly to one of the most sought-after destinations in the United States and is part of our ongoing growth and global expansion. Flights will operate three times a week, on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, on our advanced Dreamliner aircraft, offering three classes of service. Addition San Francisco allows EL AL to further strengthen its North America network. During the upcoming winter season, our flight schedule will include 45 weekly flights to six destinations across the United States: New York (JFK and Newark), Miami, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The new route reflects growing demand from both the business community and the Israeli community in the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the world’s leading centers of technology and innovation. It offers an attractive option for both business and leisure travel. In addition, through our partnership with Delta Air Lines, passengers can enjoy convenient onward connections to destinations across the United States, while earning Points and Diamonds as members of the Matmid Frequent Flyer Program. EL AL launches EL AL Travel, a new digital platform for booking hotels outside of Israel, as part of a broader initiative designed to support EL AL customers throughout their entire journey – from the flight to their stay at the destination. With EL AL Travel, customers can choose from approximately 1.5 million hotels worldwide, book easily through a simple and user-friendly interface, and enjoy attractive prices.
