December is an especially magical time to visit Israeli cities and villages, as they get ready for Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year’s celebrations. Dozens of events and festivals are taking place in Haifa, Jaffa, Nazareth, etc., and we’ve included some of the most notable in our magazine this month - from traditional Christmas markets and light-filled tours in the alleyways of Jaffa, to a multicultural festival in Haifa, a visit to the tombs of the Maccabees, and even a tour of the Israel Electric destinations to visit during this period is Jerusalem, as it prepares for the cold season, offering the perfect opportunity for a warm and cozy winter getaway. In this issue you’ll find our selection of things to see and do in the capital throughout the festive season, including bike tours of the city’s menorah-decorated streets Company’s visitors’ center. I have every hope that the holiday lights continue to shine bright as the new year begins, and I hope we can end this one with the return of the last three remaining hostages in Gaza, so that the light may truly shine upon us.
