Asa | A Shinjuku-style izakaya

This elegant new izakaya in the heart of Tel Aviv has become the White City’s most sought-after hangout spot, with its wide-open space that allows the hustle and bustle of the street to seep in and blend in with the clean-lined Japanese design. The center of attention here is taken up by the irori - a traditional, round, charcoal grill (the first of its kind in Israel), that imparts a subtle smoky aroma to food. The menu is replete with exquisite sushi, crispy gyoza, velvety ramen, and more, and the rich and diverse sake menu opens a fascinating window onto another delectable aspect of Japanese gastronomy and culture. @asa_izakaya

JMT| Bold Korean flavors

South-Korean culture – thanks to Squid Game, K-pop, and South Korean cosmetics - has taken the world by storm, and South-Korean cuisine is following suit, with its bold, punchy flavors winning over palates across the globe, including in Israel, with the opening of Jon Mattaeng, or JMT for short, a phrase which mean “insanely delicious” in South Korean slang. Diners are invited on a journey of decadent, spicy, addictive flavors, with bowls of bibimbap and tteokbokki, colorful Instagrammable dishes, that bring the boldest and most contemporary Asian cuisine to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. @jmt.telaviv

Molam | A trendy new Thai food bar This new little sister of long-standing Thai food establishment “Thai at Har Sinai” offers a reinterpretation of the Bangkok food bar, bridging together both Thai and Chinese flavors, creating bold and original connections between sourness, spiciness, and the freshness of fresh herbs. The space’s wood and terra cotta tile design exudes coziness and warmth, as does the beautiful, handmade ceramic tableware, on which are served delicious dishes that include delicately seasoned raw fish, grilled vegetables in deep sauces, and more. @molam.bar
