Join OurMishpacha and Connect with A Reservist Family
You are on an EL AL flight, either to or from Israel, safe and relaxed, thanks to our brave soldiers on the front lines. The families of our reservists are sacrificing so much for a long period, and we have the chance to show them they’re not alone. 'OurMishpacha' connects reservist families with Jewish families from the Diaspora, fostering meaningful bonds and unity. Thousands of 'Miluimnik' families are waiting for a connection. Our goal is
simple: to ensure that reservist families receive love and support from their Jewish brothers and sisters abroad. 1,400 families from 12 countries and 70 communities have already joined! Together with EL AL, we’re turning our small nation into the world’s largest family. Join US. scan the QR code or visit OurMishpacha.org

Running for Hope, Love, and Solidarity Team 'Shalva-Saucony' 2024 Sets Out to Conquer New York: 260 Runners to Compete in the World's Most Prestigious Marathon, Dedicating Their Run to the Release of Hostages
Shalva is the Israel Association for the Care and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities. Team Shalva in the NY Marathon is the first and only team from Israel to participate in the world’s most prestigious marathon. After postponing its participation in November 2023 due to the events of October 7 and the Iron Swords War, this year Team Shalva, with 260 members, will be one of the largest groups outside the US participating. The team will be led by Saar Buchbinder, a runner on the autism spectrum and a Special Olympics champion, along with Haya Hamami, who will complete the marathon in a wheelchair, pushed by her father, Yossi. The team also includes Avi Harush, the father of Reef, an IDF soldier who fell in the Iron Swords War, whose memory will be honored through their run. Other members include Ram Hayon, a member of the “Sderot Front Runners,” who survived the Black Saturday massacre; Nitai Nahtomi, from Kibbutz Alumim’s emergency response team, who fought terrorists on October 7; and dozens of reservists who served in the war this past year and partners of reservists who showed strength on the home front. Team Shalva's 260 runners are dedicating their run to the people of Israel, to the triumph of the human spirit, and
to strengthening unity, togetherness, and acceptance. In New York, they will represent Israel and people with disabilities, so that Shalva’s children and families can conquer their own personal marathons every day. Shalva provides services to thousands of children and individuals with disabilities and their families, regardless of religion, background, or financial capability. The organization also works to integrate children and adults
with disabilities into society. EL AL is proud to sponsor the running team and support this important project. For more info and for donations: scan the QR code or visit shalva.org
