In response to high demand on the part of the business sector and Jewish and Israeli communities, and of Israelis looking for flights to the US following the approval of the visa waiver, EL AL has been steadily expanding its US flight schedule. From April 15 th onwards, we’re increasing activity in Florida, with seven weekly flights – five to Miami and two to Fort Lauderdale. Miami and Fort Lauderdale are among Florida’s main cruise ports, and their airports offer many flight connection options to other major cities such as Orlando, Washington, Mexico City, and Cancun, Mexico. Final destinations can be reached using a single ticket and luggage can be checked through to the final destination as well. Flights to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Boston are operated on advanced Dreamliner aircraft that offer three service classes, Business, Premium, and Economy, personalized inflight entertainment systems, and onboard WI-FI access. Welcome the Month of 'Hadar' With a Smile Purim is a holiday of endless happiness. Hadar Goldin, who has remained in Hamas captivity for the last 10 years, epitomized the principle of spreading joy year-round through the mitzvah of happiness. “Please come in with a smile” is a phrase he used, and he always greeted everyone with a warm smile. Stickers with this phrase were given to passengers on a flight during the Purim holiday to remind everyone of Hadar’s message. We wish for the swift return of all the hostages.

the Tel Aviv-Boston route from June onwards, so that throughout the summer months, four weekly flights will be operating on that route on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Boston is a major financial and cultural hub, with many important museums and universities, and flourishing Jewish and Israeli communities. As part of our partnership with Delta Airlines, JetBlue Airways, and other airline companies, EL AL passengers can catch connecting flights at Boston Airport swiftly and stress-free, notably to destinations such as Washington, San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Toronto, Canada. Final destinations can be reached using a single ticket and luggage can be checked through to the final destination as well. As the flight took place a day after the Oscars ceremony where almost no mention was made of the Israeli hostages, Rapaport emphasized the urgency of using every stage and platform possible to call for the release of the remaining 134 hostages still in captivity and who must return home. To raise awareness, the flight to New York was called LY 157, to mark the number of days the hostages have been held captive, and the flight back to Tel Aviv was called LY 134, to mark the number of hostages still held in Gaza. Flying to the UN: a special partnership with the Hostages Families Forum

On March 11 th , a special EL AL flight landed in New York with a delegation of the Hostages Families Forum onboard, who had come to attend UN talks on the crimes committed by Hamas against the female hostages in Gaza. During the flight, Jewish-American actor Michael Rapaport used the cockpit address system to speak with Yarden Gonen, sister of Romi Gonen who is still held captive in Gaza, and Ilan Tiv, daughter of Aviva and Keith Sigal who were both kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 th . Aviva has since been released from captivity, while Keith has not. The actor expressed his solidarity and strengthened them on their way to complete their important mission at the UN.
