Ein Shokek Ein Shokek is a spring that emerges into a large and beautiful pool filled with clear water and surrounded by shady trees. There’s an underwater walking path that takes 15-20 minutes to complete, accessible via the pool’s left-hand side. Note that Ein Shokek is a 15-20 minutes’ walk from the road. Good to know: entrance is free; wheelchair and stroller friendly. Electric vehicles available for rent. Dogs are allowed. To get here type: “HaMaayanot Park” in your navigation app. Meshulash pool and slides At the very end of Nahal HaKibbutzim stream, in a place once only locals knew about, lies Meshulash pool. It owes its name to its triangle shape, as “meshulash” is the Hebrew word for triangle. The pool is surrounded by a stream and shaded seating with beautiful eucalyptus trees and picnic tables. The main attraction here has got to be the two natural slides formed inside the pool. The closest one is easily accessible and is located underneath the bridge. The second is a 5 minutes’ walk away. There are easily accessible water entrance points, but note that there are fenced areas inhabited by special flora and fauna so be careful not to cross them. Good to know: entrance is free; not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers; there are food kiosks on-site. Dogs are allowed. To get here type: “Nahal HaKibbutzim Nir David” in your navigation app. The White Waterfalls Discovered a few years ago, this place has quickly become a popular spot among day trippers. Known as the White Waterfalls because of the white foam that forms as the stream water hits the surface, there are easily accessible shallow pools and a challenging underwater walking path

that isn’t suitable for children due to the intensity of the water’s flow. This spot can get quite crowded on weekends, but if you venture further downstream, it’s possible to find more isolated areas. Good to know: entrance is free; not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. Dogs are allowed. To get here type: “White Waterfalls” in your navigation app. Nahal HaAsi stream Nahal HaAsi stream’s former name is “Nahal Amal”, in reference to Ein Amal spring that flows out of Gan HaShlosha towards Kibbutz Nir David and through Nahal Harod stream.

Nahal HaAsi is one of Israel’s most beautiful streams with magical turquoise water that’s 1-2 meters’ deep and at a temperature of 24°-28°C year-round. There are stairs and a diving board to easily access the water, but there’s a risk of slipping so do be careful. Being a relatively recent attraction, the site doesn’t have toilets or shaded seating yet, so do take that into account. Good to know: opening hours: 9 AM – 4:30 PM Sun – Fri. Closed on Saturdays.
