EL AL NEWS

From the Chef

Hi, it’s Assaf, The moment has finally arrived! After months of planning, cooking, sampling, and making adjustments, after dicing, spicing, cooking, designing and packaging – here we finally are! I am pleased and thrilled to launch a new and exciting quality menu. Just as the plane you are sitting on right now connects Israel to the world, so does the food that will be served onboard. We brought in raw materials and dishes that represent the best of Israel and the various countries of produce provenance. The new menu tells our story, the story of us all - there’s that dish your grandmother used to make, and your father’s favorite salad, and that cake we all grew up on. Our sandwiches offer fascinating combinations of excellent raw materials grown by top-quality Israeli farms we champion with pride across the world. The new menu will be launched gradually on flights from Tel Aviv to New York in the upcoming weeks and will later be introduced in our various kitchens worldwide. After the launch, we’d love to hear from you and listen to what you have to say about it so that we continue to learn, diversify, and surprise you. So if you’re on your way out of the country, our selection of Israeli dishes are the perfect send-off, and if you’re on your way back, we hope you enjoy our little taste of home! Bon appétit! Enjoy your flight!
