PRESIDENT'S REPORT 2025

• Supporting emergency response and resilience building initiatives in the Negev. • Increasing investments in student scholarships and fellowships. • Critical financial resources are needed to enhance social and economic resilience in the Negev, as part of our commitment to rebuilding the region bigger and better. As we look to the future, BGU remains steadfast in its role as a pillar of hope and resilience for the Negev and beyond. Following the devastating events of October 7, we are not only addressing the immediate needs of our community but are also determined to rebuild stronger than ever. Guided by David Ben-Gurion’s vision, we are committed to ensuring that the Negev flourishes as a beacon of innovation, sustainability, and opportunity for generations to come. I extend my deepest gratitude to our academic and administrative colleagues, international associations, and volunteer leaders. Your dedication and commitment continue to drive BGU’s progress and amplify its impact. With your support, I am confident we will surpass our goals and realize the vision of making the Negev flourish. Let us move forward together, united by a shared purpose and a brighter future.
