PRESIDENT'S REPORT 2025
JEFF KAYE VICE PRESIDENT FOR PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
I am honored to present this year’s report, which highlights the achievements and milestones of the Resource Development and Public Affairs departments under my direction. This past year has been a defining time for the University, as we rose to challenges with determination and continued building a brighter future together. ADAPTING TO CHALLENGES AND STRENGTHENING SUPPORT The past year has been a period of recovery and progress. Our global community came together around BGU’s mission, reaffirming that our supporters are the foundation of our resilience. Through innovative outreach – including webinars, video testimonials, speaking tours to communities by our remarkable students, and written updates – we amplified BGU’s story to inspire new partnerships and commitments. Our fundraising efforts have been pivotal. Building on the success of last year’s emergency campaign, we secured significant contributions to support student scholarships, research initiatives, and state-of-the-art facilities. This progress brings us closer to achieving the ambitious goals of the Way Forward Global Campaign. FOSTERING GLOBAL CONNECTIONS We deepened our relationships with supporters worldwide this year, welcoming solidarity missions and delegations of philanthropic leaders to our campuses. These visits provided firsthand experiences of BGU’s transformative impact, strengthening advocacy for our mission. Our senior leaders also maintained a strong global presence, engaging with Jewish communities and

supporters at events, galas, and private meetings. These interactions secured vital resources while fostering partnerships amidst global challenges such as rising antisemitism. NEW LEADERSHIP The Zin Fellows and Halutz Leadership programs continue to flourish, engaging cohorts of passionate future leaders dedicated to advancing BGU’s mission. This year, the Zin Fellows sent its seventh cohort to Israel, while the Halutz program celebrated its fourth cohort, both fostering meaningful connections and empowering participants to become advocates for the University and its transformative vision.
