BGU | PRESIDENT'S REPORT 2024

Director-General Tal Ben-Haim presents his vision at the annual meeting of the technical and administrative staff Renovations of the now state-of-the-art Sylvan Adams Sports Center were completed in August 2023

WE CREATED A DETAILED PLAN FOR SUPPORTING OUR STUDENTS WHO ARE SERVING IN THE RESERVES TO ENSURE THEY ARE NOT LEFT BEHIND As noted, we are developing additional revenue streams and strengthening existing ones. We have seen a growth in income from marketable services such as pre-academic programs and the Medical School for International Health. We will continue to develop similar potential revenue sources such as continuing education

programs, international programs, and special academic programs such as the bachelor’s degree for the IDF pilot training program, and executive management programs. We are also working to increase revenue from research and development activities by, for example, merging BGN Technologies and the National Institute for Biotechnology in the Negev and establishing a new economic entity that will be charged with finding ways to maximize income from other University assets.
