JAN 2025 Pre-Opening Lunch at Chef Yotam Ottolenghi's Geneva Restaurant The Swiss association hosted an exclusive lunch for 30 of BGU’s friends to celebrate the opening of Chef Yotam Ottolenghi’s first restaurant outside London. The event was a delightful culinary experience, with exquisite food and a unique opportunity to meet the chef in person.

JAN 2025 Gruss Scholarships Ceremony At a special scholarship presentation event held at BGU, the Joseph S. & Caroline Gruss Life Monument Fund, led by Executive Director Naomi Fink Gertner, honored students from

Israel’s periphery who are the first in their families to pursue higher education. The Fund also annually brings soon-to-be-discharged IDF soldiers to campus to explore academic opportunities as they prepare for civilian life.

JAN 2025 Support for BGR Formula Team The management of Ashot Ashkelon Industries Ltd., a leading manufacturer of propulsion systems and machine parts for jet engines and off-road vehicles, visited BGU and announced their support for the BGR Formula Team. The company has committed to providing financial assistance to help the team design and build their racing-car and compete in international competitions abroad.
