FEB 2026 Meet Lt. Col. Dr. Daniel Elbo Arama: Healing the People of Israel in a Time of War Lt. Col. Dr. Daniel Elbo Arama, a BGU alumnus and lecturer in emergency medicine, met with audiences across the United States, sharing perspectives from Israel’s frontlines. Events took place in Aspen, Los Angeles, and the Mid-Atlantic at venues including Aspen Jewish Congregation, Valley Beth Shalom, and the Weinberg Jewish Long Beach Campus, in partnership with organizations such as Chabad JCC, the Goldrich Family Foundation, Jewish Long Beach, and Adath Israel on the Main Line.

FEB 2026 Outreach Event for IDF Soldiers

The Joseph S. and Caroline Gruss Foundation organized outreach events on BGU’s Marcus Family Campus in Beer-Sheva for IDF soldiers nearing the end of their service, encouraging them to pursue higher education. This year, for the first time, a similar event was also held at the University’s Eilat campus, with the participation of faculty and alumni students.
