Six participating companies were granted access to the Lab’s advanced tools and data repositories, including spatial and climatic data collected and analyzed using tools developed at NUR. These include a real-time scenario planning system based on the Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI), 3D mapping of the physical environment, and virtual reality tools used to evaluate the impact of localized interventions on the urban environment and its users. The NUR Lab also hosted a one-day conference dedicated to the Al Buadi project, an ecological expansion of the Bedouin town of Abu Tlul.
