BEN-GURION UNIVERSITY OF THE NEGEV
Development of a new modular computing architecture, alongside the introduction of updated identity management, student information, and human resources systems is well underway. These initiatives represent a strategic investment in improving reliability, scalability, and service quality. Advanced research computing capabilities are expanding through the RUN:AI cluster and the University is moving projects to cloud-based management platforms across multiple divisions, implementing BIM-based planning workflows, and introducing AI agents to support scheduling, budgeting, and execution to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Together, these steps are expected to significantly improve transparency, efficiency, and decision-making quality across operations. LOOKING AHEAD BGU’s employees - academic and administrative alike - remain essential to the University’s success. This year, special emphasis was placed on engagement, support, and organizational resilience, recognizing the extraordinary personal and professional demands placed on staff during wartime. Looking ahead, BGU is focused on sustaining momentum while accelerating recovery. Strategic priorities include rebuilding and upgrading facilities damaged during the war, expanding the University’s regional impact in the Negev, deepening AI-driven innovation, and ensuring institutional readiness for future crises.
