BGU | Fundraising Handbook
Enlisting Support to Promote Entrepreneurship and Innovation at BGU BGU’s outstanding Yazamut 360° Entrepreneurship Center is the address for all things entrepreneurial at BGU. Yazamut 360° operates on all fronts to ensure that all members of the BGU community can develop as entrepreneurs and benefit from this unique mindset and approach. The only limit to Yazamut 360°’s development and ability to create new programs and opportunities is funding. Each of the Yazamut 360° programs described above could benefit from donor support, which can likewise ensure the establishment of new programs. In addition, Yazamut 360°’s existing hub on the Marcus Family Campus and the new hub in the Drahi Innovation and Entrepreneurship Building offer numerous attractive naming opportunities. Similarly, initiatives emerging from the Innovation District can also be advanced with an infusion of donor funds. Reporting Reporting varies depending on the program or entity supported. An annual report on activities and programs receiving donor support will be provided for the funding period. In terms of named entities, a report upon completion of the project or a video- or photo-based report will be provided. With the diversity of the programs and the potential for long-term impact, be that the impact of a startup established in the Oazis program or the impact of a BGU student instilled with an entrepreneurial mindset and skillset at Yazamut 360°, there will be an entrepreneurship or innovation initiative or program of interest for every potential donor. With each gift, a donor contributes to the advancement of the Negev region and the State of Israel, both of which benefit from the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation cultivated by BGU. Dedication Ceremony Gifts to support significant named entities will be recognized at a dedication ceremony held in the presence of the donor and senior administration.
